Dwarves are uncommon on Rusta, and there are about 1/5th as many dwarves as rock dwarves.

When a player chooses to play an Dwarven character, roll percentile dice:

  • 60% chance for the character is a hill or mountain dwarf.
  • 5% chance for rock dwarf
  • Standard Dwarven Traits from Current 5E Playtest: Races

Additions or Changes

  • Starting Language: Dwarven Only
  • Dwarves Weapon Training: Proficiency with all axes and hammers.

Rock Dwarven Abilities

  • All standard, hill, and mountain dwarven Abilities
  • Racial Stat Modifiers: +2 to STR, +1 to WIS, +4 CON
  • CON Modifier is doubled for HP determination up to L10
  • Rock Dwarven Weapon Proficiency includes crossbows.
  • Gain Magic Resistance equal to 1% per level.
  • Racial Feats: Trap Sense, Durable
  • Blend into Stone Ritual: A rock dwarf can blend into nearby stone and not detected or seen with magical sights after sitting for 2 hours. Time is cut in half in home territory.
  • Stone Regeneration: If a mile or more underground, the rock dwarf can regenerate lvl/round in HPs per round.
