Baldarian Chariot Mastery

This feat is paramount to anyone desiring to fight with a ranged weapon from a chariot. Without this feat, all attack rolls are made at a disadvantage and damage is cut in half.

Prerequisite(s):
  • Egyptian
  • Benefits(s):
  • You gain proficiency in Mount (Vehicles)
  • You gain proficiency in with Javelin and Short Bow and Long Bow
  • Those skilled in this feat understand how to drive the horse in order to maneuver the chariot as desired, and are skilled in falling to avoid damage in case of a crash. No check needed.
  • If an enemy is close enough, a DEX check can be made to maneuver into him and knock him down, DC20. Success allows an basic melee attack roll to be made to cause actual damage. A one-person chariot and horse causes 2d6 damage while a two-person chariot causes 3d6 damage.
  • If something bad happens such as flipping the chariot, breaking a wheel, or being tossed out, the driver must make Dexterity check, DC20 to avoid injury.
